I haven't done a review in a while but I will come on Yelp and write a review when I am extremely satisfied! My daughter and I drove from Carson to Morrison because I had a craving for bread pudding and I seen Tiktoks with videos that looked what seemed to be the best bread pudding in LA! When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly server named Teddy. He seated us and they had these cute and spacious booths that looked like it could fit maybe 6 people. We had the booth to ourselves and just ordered a sampler appetizer (which was huge) and then bread pudding and cookies. Teddy's service was top tier. We dined out a lot and I am so thankful when we get an actual great server. We never had to ask for anything like refills or extra sauces, he was on top of everything, super friendly and his friendliness was very genuine not forced like some servers lol So the appetizer we got was gi-normous! It had wings, mozarella sticks, potato wedges, and quesadillas! It was really good. But the cherry on top was the bread pudding omg! Best bread pudding I have EVER HAD and I have tried some of the best bread pudding in New Orleans. Their bread pudding was worth the drive and so sweet of Teddy, he comped my bread pudding bc we drove so far to get there. I will def be back soon w my husband and other children soon. Bc I cannot forget how amazing that bread pudding was! Thanks Teddy!

Today's review is for Teddy again, he remembered us and provided great service as always. Thanks, Teddy! I forgot to mention to him that our names have the same meaning, Theodore and Dorothy, the masculine and feminine of the same name, which means "gift of God". Anyway, I digress...my son and I split the happy hour nachos and I had a Dodger Blonde. It was great to see the Dodgers ahead against the Oakland A's too! We love Morrison's :)

We stopped by here because we saw that they were pet friendly, emphasis on friendly! We sat on the patio, and it was a nice clean area. When we checked in, we got a glimpse of the bar and inside, and it looked pretty chill and laid back. The patio was clean, and the music outside wasn't too loud. Our server, William, was super polite, spoke like a gentleman, and really took pride in making sure we were taken care of. He constantly checked on us even though he had the patio full of other guests. We were there for a good hour, and he came to check on us at least 5 times. Always tip your waiters, especially ones like Will! We ordered 2 drinks, a entrée for our dog, and the bread pudding with ice cream. Total came out to $50.95. I'd say it was a fair price. My fiancée ordered the casamigos spicy Verde (double) and man, it was super delicious. Fresh jalapeño, perfect amount of tequila and mix, and the rim wasn't just plain salt or tajin. It was a sweet and spicy blend that really complimented the cocktail. I ordered a Golden Road Ride On Tropical IPA because I'm boring like that, but it was super chill and served in a nice pint glass (to me, that matters, lol). We shared a bread pudding with horchata ice cream and OMG. SIMPLY! PERFECTION! Fresh, cripsy edges, warm gooey creamy center, perfect amount of cinnamon and vanilla flavor, a hefty portion topped off with a delicious horchata ice cream scoop and served with a perfectly sweet and Salty caramel sauce. The best bread pudding I have EVER had. While we were waiting for our drinks and bread pudding, we caught the smell of their burgers and fries, so we'll definitely be coming back here again.

Morrison is a master of Happy Hour. And I LOVE that their Boulevard Salad is on the HH menu. Also love that they have cider available. This time I got the Passionfruit Cider. The service is great and they are willing to make little changes, like when i asked to get the spicy chicken, not spicy (which kills me because I love spicy stuff, but tummy hurt this week.) It is very loud and fun inside, but nice for relaxation and conversation outside (which I prefer). They have amazing $5 beer specials beyond HH too! The one thing that would kick my score to 5 would be if they used a fish fillet instead of a patty and a juicier piece of chicken for their sandwiches. The chicken was a bit dense, not sure if it was pressed. But if they had more succulent chicken and actual fish filets , I know they might not be able to give us the same great HH prices. And to their credit, their sandwiches are very tasty!
